Cold Weekend

Well, I wasn't very happy when it turned cold and I really didn't like to see the snow, but I did like the fact that it kind of made us stay home. We have had a nice weekend so far getting caught up on cleaning and things. We've also done some hair dying (you won't recognize Tanner) and some furniture assembly which can be grounds for divorce. Jim & I have done it so many times though that we're able to defuse the situation before it gets ugly. Jim pounds the board into place so it is immovable and then I (innocently) say. Oops! I think the groove was suppose to go on the outside. Then I give my very best "I'm sorry" look and giggle. Maybe he'll think it's funny. Yeah, not so much. So he pounds it back out, in the process breaking some pieces off. Oh well, maybe they're not important! Giggle some more. Still not funny. Oh well, we got it all together, just added some wood glue. It all works out and now we have a beautiful end table! I hope everyone else has as a good a weekend as we are. :)
