For Girl Scouts, Jade's troop was going to go fishing with their Dad's. Well, Jim's not a big fisherman so he asked Jade if she wanted to do something else instead. Of course she asked, "Can we go shopping?" Dad says, "ummmmmm...well..... how about we go out to eat and a movie?". Jade thinks for a long time. Okay! So they go to North Platte and eat at Whiskey Creek (wonder whose choice that was?)
But there are no good movies showing, now what are they going to do? Then Dad does the greatest thing of all and shows what a really great Dad he is, not that any of his 6 kids have ever doubted it, he takes Jade to get her ears pierced!! Boy was she nervous & excited all at once, but she did it!

Very impressive! When Ally had hers done Dirk had to come along but it was more for my support than it was hers. :)
