Busy

I keep thinking things are going to slow down, and then....reality sets in. I took a class this month and am asking myself why?!? Jade's Girl Scout troup went to Kearney and toured the Rails & Trails Museum and the Arch. They really enjoyed it, in fact, they walked back through the Arch backwards so they could go through it again. Jade can't wait to go back! We had 7 moms and 13 girls. It really was a lot of fun. Tanner's getting ready for fair, getting his 4-H entries turned in. He did BB gun which he got a blue ribbon in, bowling, and computer. Jim's work is slowing down a little, but he manages to keep busy. Our garden was a lot of work, but it is paying off. We have had some awesome sweet corn, zucchini, and potatoes. Of course I have to go see Sofie often and see how she is changing. Chad is living with us this summer. He had major knee surgery in June and originally had to be on crutches for 12 weeks, they have cut it down now and he will be off by the middle of August, but still won't be able to do a whole lot. His boss in Lincoln didn't have any work he could do, so he was without a job, insurance and work comp refused to pay his bills...it was a hard time. Then his old boss at Pivot offered him a job answering the phone, doing computer work, etc. while he was laid up, so he took it and moved in with us! He is a great roommate and doesn't cause too much trouble! Now he is just praying for direction on what to do next. Well, in a nutshell that's our life right now...kind of rambling, doesn't make much sense...that's us!

Hi Jen,
I wrote something awhile ago, but had to sign up for google, and it came back to an empty page here, so don't know it that one went or not. It is fun to read your blogs and find out how everyone is doing and what they're doing. Loved read about the GS trip. Give the kids loves!!
